Every Body is Magic!

I love going to Disney World and Disneyland but it takes some extra planning for a pooh-sized guest like me. There have been many times while I was planning a trip that I had questions about rides and accommodations and couldn’t find any of the answers online. Not knowing some of this information (renting a scooter, fitting on rides, cooling off on a hot day) started my trips off with anxiety instead of excitement. In years past I was so nervous about being a pooh-sized person in an airport/airplane I couldn’t even focus on getting excited for our time in the happiest place on Earth. It felt unfair. Just because I existed in a bigger body, I needed to do extra research to make sure I was comfortable. I deserve the same magical experience that everyone else has so I decided to do something about it.

When I say I’ve been working on this project since November I mean it! We boarded the plane on our way home from our most recent Disneyland trip and I spent the rest of the flight frantically typing ideas out on the Notes app on my phone while my spouse snored beside me. I was going to make a resource for pooh-size folks to use prior to going on a Disney vacation to help them feel comfortable and ready for their trip because EVERY body is magic.

Here’s what you can expect from me and this blog: magic, fashion, tips, tricks, and Disney vibes. More specifically:

Magic Mondays - Longer form blog posts will go up on Mondays. I’ll be covering aspects of traveling to Disney that are specific to pooh-sized guests along with Disney trivia, history, and news. If there is something specific you’d like to see me cover, let me know!

What to Wear Wednesdays - On Wednesdays we wear… Disney! I’ll be pulling pieces from brands I know of that carry plus-size fashion and creating outfit boards to share. These will be posted on Instagram but will also have a blog post that have links to the items. As of right now, none of these links are affiliate links and if that changes in the future I will let you know.

World of Disney - This is an ongoing glossary of Disney terms, places, and abbreviations. Being a fan of Disney comes with it’s own unique vernacular and sometimes it’s hard to find actual definitions to the terms you are seeing. I hope that this part of my website can be a good resource for folks.

I’m not limiting myself to just posting on these days so these are just the beginning of the content you’ll be getting from me! As I said above, I want to make sure I am providing information that people want and need so let me know!
